Acoustic Zen Adagio Loudspeaker

Five reviewers auditioned it in 2006, and all five gave the Adagio their recommendation. Perhaps the first time this has ever happened for a loudspeaker!

  • ¤  Jim Merod reviews the Adagios in the May/June issue of Positive Feedback Online, calling them "musically gorgeous", "ridiculously (low) priced", and "Do not allow the modest price to lull you into overlooking their superior performing qualities".
  • ¤  Positive Feedback Online's 2006 Writer's Choice Awards: Two writers (Greg Weaver, Jim Merod) pick the Acoustic Zen Adagio! They cite its "deliciously rich tonality", "marvelously expressive microdynamics", and "undeniably seductive broadband purity". To sum up: it is "virtually impossible to find a more musically satisfying loudspeaker unless you are willing to spend considerably more money, period."
  • ¤  6moons, August 2006: Adagios win the Blue Moon award for "Ultra-low distortion transducer magic", with an enthusiastic and very detailed review!
  • ¤  StereoTimes, August 2006: Adagio is awarded the 2006 Most Wanted Components, Loudspeakers, along with a very complimentary review. "Fantastic loudspeaker", "a considerable bargain", and "strongly recommended".
